2023 Commencement to be Held on May 12
Southern Virginia University is pleased to announce that the 2023 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m. in front of Main Hall. In the event of severe weather, the ceremonies will be held that afternoon in the Knight Arena at 3 p.m.
Commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live online for those unable to attend at svu.edu/commencement.
Lodging
As neighboring college Washington & Lee University School of Law is holding graduation ceremonies on the same day, and the Virginia Military Institute soon after, traveling attendees may wish to secure lodging and transportation as soon as possible.
