Ringing In The Holiday Season At The Annual Christmas Musical Forum

Continuing Southern Virginia University tradition, the campus community gathered in the Knight Arena on Dec. 2 for the annual Christmas musical forum. There, the University choirs ringed in the season with Christmas carols and holiday favorites for the last University-wide gathering of the fall semester.

In between hymns, President Reed N. Wilcox gave a brief Christmas message. Sharing paintings depicting the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, Wilcox spoke on his love and gratitude for Savior and for the campus community.

“I would like to tell you all how grateful I am for you. I love you all, I Iove what you’re doing here, and I love Jesus,” said President Wilcox. “If you remember nothing else, remember that Jesus is our best and truest friend, and that he loves you.”
