Southern Virginia to Hold Special Thanksgiving Devotional Nov. 22
Southern Virginia University will hold a special devotional titled “A Thanksgiving Celebration” on Friday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. in the Stoddard Center.
Provost Madison U. Sowell will speak at the devotional, which will include the singing of Thanksgiving hymns and expressions of gratitude from members of the faculty, administration, staff and student body.
Additionally, there will be a special video presented during the devotional, which will showcase students, faculty and staff.
Community members and Southern Virginia faculty, staff and students are invited to hear forum and devotional speakers each Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Stoddard Center. Recordings of past forum and devotional speeches may be accessed online.
