New York Times Best-Selling Author to Speak at Devotional Jan. 13
Jason F. Wright, a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USAToday bestselling author, will give a devotional entitled “Does Your Audience Know You?” on Friday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. in the Stoddard Center at Southern Virginia University.
Wright has written nine novels including “The Wednesday Letters,” which rose to number six on The New York Times Best Seller list, and “Christmas Jars,” which also appeared on the Best Seller list. Additionally, along with Glenn Beck, he co-wrote the number one New York Times Best Seller “The Christmas Sweater.”
He also has written articles that have been published in more than 50 newspapers and magazines including The Washington Times, The Chicago Tribune and Forbes. He writes a column entitled “Wright Words” for the Mormon Times — a section of the Deseret News. He has appeared on CNN, FoxNews, C-SPAN and on local television affiliates around the country.
Wright has lived in numerous places around the world, including Illinois, Brazil, Germany, Utah and Oregon. He currently resides in Woodstock, Va., with his wife, Kodi, and their four children.
Community members and Southern Virginia faculty, staff and students are invited to hear forum and devotional speakers each Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Stoddard Center. Recordings of past forum and devotional speeches may be accessed online.
