Southern Virginia’s Alumni Association Charters First Chapter
On Friday, April 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Southern Virginia University Alumni Association will officially charter its first chapter during a meeting at the Metropolis Integrated Media building in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Those attending the meeting on April 2 will listen to speakers and enjoy hors d’oeuvres. Previously, the alumni association has organized an annual barbeque in Salt Lake City, but this will mark the first meeting of an officially organized chapter. The alumni association also plans to open chapters in Rockbridge County, Va., Richmond, Va., Northern Virginia and Raleigh/Durham, N.C.
All those who have graduated from or attended Southern Virginia University are invited to attend and reunite with fellow graduates and classmates.
